Thin man, please please update us on the Colin Mayes thing. Does he use the net and might he be up for a webchat one evening? What's the news!?

Start talking Thin Man else I shall kindly ask Benny to banish you from this site AND have your car made to disappear into thin air (never to return). Bzzzzzzzzz.

Also, what's going on with "I would bugger Derek Griffiths if I was gay"? Is he still around?

Look, I wish you'd stop quoting that bloomin' phrase everywhere, it's really very rude, especially for talking about a children's programme.

All will be revealed regarding Colin in due course. He doesn't appear to use the net very much, but is happy to talk.

After watching TBFS again the other evening, I wondered if the writer ever envisaged going back to it and writing a continuation of the story. What happened after they left? Did the Thin Man get released and go on the rampage? Did he ask nicely to be let free even so he could just take a quick pee(p) pee(p) on their long journey?

One question I am probing Colin with is, how many other scenes does he remember filming and what were they? As it's a very linear story and must not stray too far as it's based at kids and shouldn't go into too much detail. But surely, some parts were filmed that were eventually dropped in the editing. Do these scenes still exist at BBC HQ? Imagine the horrifying things that could have been filmed? More close ups of the Thin Man and him doing his pointy stuff with his ray gun?

Another question, did John Woodnutt really get into character all the time? For instance, did he sit in the BBC canteen in full make-up and eat with really slow hand movements while staring ominously at staff and fellow actors, perhaps nip across the road (slowly) to pick up a paper or was he unprofessional and turn up on set on his griffter with a four pack of SKOL?

Okay, I didn't ask him that one!

But all questions we'd love to have answered. However maybe I don't want to spoil the mystique surrounding the show.

Okay yes I do, especially if it gets the evil face of that man out of my mind forever!

Griffter and SKOL it is then!
