It's brilliant, because it's obviously just a reimagining of the classic old Eyes animation that they made in 1974. They've reversed the colour scheme, added a book to represent Read as well as the eyes for Look, and given it a bit of proper music backing, but it's still the same idea - which means that Shadow Play sits comfortably alongside the classic old repeats, you can tell it's all part of the same series, just modern and spruced up.

Good isn't it! All we need now is some nice repeats of Shadow Play so everbody can see it.
And do you notice that they're finally using an open 'a' in 'Read', every previous story has used a font with a closed 'a', in the old days they had to get special batches of Helvetica letraset knocked up with modified letters like that so kids could recognise 'em. I wonder if this is a deliberate policy shift, or if they're just not bothered about paying that much attention to things anymore?
The Shadow Play storybook is also typeset with just a normal font with open 'a's, which is also a first ever, even the Word Master book from a couple of years ago was set in a modified font. An interesting (and admittedly totally trivial) development...
Also: Glyn, calm down! Just cos no one responded to your personal thread, you don't have to take it out on poor Samuel.
