Any more idea about whether the BBC are going to repeat the old stories again in the Autumn? I couldn't get the video to work Monday morning at school so missed Cloudburst but I got the other four this week. I desperately want to get my hands on 'The King's Dragon' but will they repeat it again? I thought I saw something on the BBC website the other day that kind of hinted that they were putting together a schedule for Autumn 2004 at the moment?
No worries mate, I recorded all the episodes of "Dark Towers" and "The Boy from Space" last week. I'm more than happy to mail copies out to you, just send details to glyn@zoom.co.uk
Beware, however, that episodes 6&7 on BOTH tapes contain sign language (see details on previous posts as to why, it's very annoying).
Coincidentially enough, after graduating in English last year, I am hoping to become a teacher myself in the next year or so and was talking to a Primary school teacher today who still shows Look&Read episodes to her class. She wasn't familiar with TBFS (she usually shows Spywatch) and I told her to track down TBFS if she truly fancied spooking her year 2 class. :)

There will definitely, definitely be more old Look and Read repeats on CBBC - it's cost them enough to get the rights then clean the programmes up ready for broadcast, so they're going to play them as much as possible, I would imagine.
Hopefully the CBBC autumn schedule should be available in early August, though the BBC website might not be updated straight away - last year they didn't update the database until the Friday before the programmes were due to start on the Monday.
Incidentally, did they actually do sign language over two episodes of The Boy and Dark Towers last week in the end? They were scheduled to do the signing on episodes 7 & 8 in each story, so those are the only ones I left the timer on for, but in the end they only seemed to bother doing it for the first two stories - from Wednesday they seemed to only bother signing episode 7, is that right or did I miss something?
Oh, and best of luck at being a teacher, Glyn, especially if you'll be braving the horrors of secondary school!
Thanks Glyn I appreciate that, I'll email you now. Good luck with the teaching career - LOL I wouldn't recommend it to anyone but at least every day's different!
