I'll go first.

During the bit in "Dark Towers" where that old boot is dragged from the well, the boom mike dips in a fair bit (top right of screen). Amateur.

I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but in THE BOY FROM SPACE, 'Peep-peep's' (Groucho Marx false) nose appears to be wonky!

In fact, it was like Dan's compass..All over the place!

You know, I believe that neither writer nor director were particularly satisfied with their work on Dark Towers, they both felt generally that it dragged and was fundamentally quite flat - both of which were undoudtedly the fault of the way it was shot, as a live outside broadcast - but rescued by, amongst other things, the smashing music and lovely old house. And it didn't help that the budget was then so low that they could only afford to do one segment of story per episode - the recaps at the beginning were specifically invented to make up for the lack of much story content per episode.

Also (and deviating even further from the topic here, sorry Glyn!) I read in an old interview recently that David Collings actually used to be a sculptor before becoming an actor - "but that hardly brought in the rent". Wonder if that was the inspiration for Lord Dark's profession, or if it's just a coincidence?
