Apart from the scenes in the hut (with the telescope) do you think that THE BOY FROM SPACE would have been scarier, had it had been set at night. I know, it is scary as hell as it is (set in daylight) and that it probably adds to the whole fear factor, ACTUALLY being set in broad daylight.
But can you imagine THE THIN SPACE MAN coming at you at night (he'd be stronger as well......no sunlight, to dampen his strength)
Better go now, i'm starting to scare myself. Would love to read other peoples thoughts on this issue?
