Look and Read schedule for Spring 2005 - including some new stories (sort of) they've not repeated before...

Week of 3rd January - Captain Crimson (starting on Tuesday as Monday is a Bank Holiday)
Week of 10th January - Sky Hunter II - that's the new & updated version, 1st time on CBBC
Week of 17th January - Earth Warp
Week of 24th January - LRTV - 1st time on CBBC, at last!
Week of 31st January - Spywatch
Week of 7th February - Through The Dragon's Eye
Week of 14th February - half term
Week of 21st February - Zzaap and the Word Master
Week of 28th February - Shadow Play
Week of 7th March - Dark Towers

Look & Read is going back to the 9:30 and 11:30 slots in the spring, but s'long as they keep doing the sign language like they have been this term, from 11:00 to 11:30, L&R should be free of it.

On BBC2, there's going to be repeats of Shadow Play and Zzaap & the Word Master in the Spring, both shown all-in-one-go on Monday mornings in February - the full schedules are on the BBC website. In the summer the plan is to run Spywatch weekly on Friday mornings, as there will be 10 weeks in the broadcast summer term this year.

All this will be added to the website this weekend definitely, hopefully with one or two extra little bits too, making it a proper update at last!

Excellent news. Haven't seen those Sky Hunter II linking bits since I saw it at school in Autumn 1996. Funnily enough, while at home (I was probably off sick or something) I remember seeing a bit of the Autumn 1994 showing, so 2 years later I remember thinking "Oh, so THAT's where it came from!"

Hello Ben. I have been a Look and Read fan ever since The Boy from Space back in 1971. and thaks to you and your site i have taped all the Look and Read programmes. because none television magazines give you the names of the Look and Read storys and some just say class tv from 9.00an till 1.00pm. I work in a primary school in Glasgow as a school Janitor. the school does not have digital television. so i tape the Look and Read programmes for the school. but i would never have known that Look and Read was on CBBC only till i found your site so keep the good work Ben you have a super Look and Read site.

kind regards

James McElroy

When i read your post i was thrilled to find that Through The Dragons Eye was going to be repeated. However now the week has come, sign of it on the BBC. I figured, its probably not going to be shown during half term anyway, and its not.

Wrong dates perhaps?

Anymore news would be great.

I remember sitting on the classroom carpet 15 years ago watching Through The Dragon's Eye on that big TV they used to wheel in.

I'd like to catch it too to see if it's as good as I remember! Anyone with any info, please keep us posted!

I used to love it years ago but i missed the last episode of it and I want to know what happen (i got to the bit where they dropped the detector in the river). If anyone can tell me please email me

Guys it's on another website!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I may or may not have bought one the other day, it's illegal.  The video is about £50 but immoral people may have got it on dvd for £20.
