Having just watched "Dark Towers" I couldn't help but notice that the programme that followed it; "Let's Write A Story" featured the actor Anthony Lennon, who in a previous guise was known as "MC DNA", a rapper who used to present a late night show on black pirate radio station "Sting FM" here in Manchester in about 94/95......On his show he used to invite various Black Supremascist groups on air to discuss their bizarre, racist notions and beliefs and made no attempt to disagree or differ with them, on the contrary, he would constantly applaud and condone their sentiments.....I remember hearing him say once "White people have stolen everything from other cultures. What have they ever invented apart from Chips and Lager...?", an absolutely legendary one liner, I'm sure you all agree....Apparently he was born to white Irish parents, but along with his brother, was born with a negroid appearance and afro hair, which inevitably led to some confusion and controversy in his family, but was found to be his fathers true offspring when DNA blood tests were carried out.....All this led Lennon to adopt black culture and adopt a very militant and racist anti-white stance, he got involved in various community groups in the Moss Side area and evidently since then has gone on to be an actor.....I wonder if BBC Scotland (who employed him in the aforementioned series) are aware of his highly suspect background, and I also wonder if he still holds such racist views, and if not, would he publicly denounce them if asked to do so.....? Could you imagine the BBC employing a Neo-Nazi to act in a childrens educational programme....? No, neither can I!!!
"Could you imagine the BBC employing a Neo-Nazi to act in a childrens educational programme....? No, neither can I!!!"
No as its ok to be far left but not right.........
BBC Education is too intrested in easing Guardian readers minds by making sure that most schools programmes are 90% black. I only found this site (sorry Wordy) dis site as i watched Dark Towers this week, and the S**** that is going on in newer programmes like lets make a story and Words and Picture plus is horrid. Every time you look at the TV you may as well be watching BBC Africa not CBBC, then you get the educational French programmes that are never set in France but French speeking .....................................................
True words Rob, thank God someone else has noticed the BBC's obvious "White middle-class guilt trip"...! 'Spelling With The Spellits' is a good point in case : With this programme the BBC seem to think that the best approach to teaching our children English is to have children from various ethnic backgrounds, each with their own foreign dialect, explaining correct Grammar and Pronunciation to the viewers. Even the one "token" Caucasian child talks with a "Wigger" accent that Ali-G would be proud of...! Innit...?
