That would be really cool, I think it could get a lot of members.

People were talking a short while ago about Look and Read convention, I think that would be a really great idea too. Something to give fans the chance to meet each other and castmembers.

L+R started some time in the late 60's I think, but somebody else would know the exact year but it must be around 35 years old.

Yeah, 2 years ago the site celebrated the 35th anniversary of proper Look & Read (there had, of course, been 'pilot' stories shown during 1965 and 1966 which don't count) with a special 35th Anniversary logo thing on the front page and, erm, well that's it really.

On the main subject, I've often wondered if very many people are really interested in 'Look & Read' as a whole - I mean everything, from those mid-60s Merry-Go-Round pilots to the Spellits and Shadow Play and whatever comes next - rather than just the two or three stories from a particular era. With something like a website you can easily just stick with the few programmes that you like best, but with stuff like a fan club & conventions & all that, you've really got to be interested in everything that's going on or you'll quickly get annoyed and walk off.

Do you think some individual stories - by which I mean TBFS and Dark Towers really, plus probably Through The Dragon's Eye? - might be 'big' enough to have clubs and conventions all to themselves?!
