Hi I wonder if anyone can help me, I'm 19 and visting this site brough back alot of memories of primary school days, this site is excellent, so glad I founf it.

I have one question. Before some of the programs started in this era of Tv there was a spinning cube of letters. I.e. every vertical face of the cube that could be seen was a letter, cant remember any more than that, apart from there was music aswell, and it was all pitched on a black background. Was wondering if anyone knows of any clips of this or audio clips of it, my sister and I would were just reminising.

Since you're 19, I'm guessing this was around the late 80s/early 90s.


Do you mean the ITV Schools rotomotion, used on Channel 4 from 1987 to 1993? See some pictures here:

Sounds more like the intro to You and Me, but from the late 70s / early 80s. Goto www.tvark.org , there are some clips on there that should jog memories ;)
