I used to love Look and Read - I remember Geordie Racer and Badger Girl but my favourite was Through the Dragon's Eye. I also loved the 'Magic E' song and the building song ('Why don't you build yourself a word...').

But there is noe thing I remember - it is of this guy who had a fold up bike, and one episode ended on a cliff hanger - he was crossing a railway and got his bike wheel stuck and a train was coming. Then the next episode (or the previous one) had him going through a field where he heard gunfire and an aeroplane. So he ducked and lay down in the grass till it had passed, then when he go to gate of field, he passed a car with the radio on (it was this that where the sound came from).

Sorry for the lack of details, but that's all I can remember. It might not've been a look and read story, but I did see it at primary school so it was most likely a schools programme. If you know what it is, any help would be greatfully appreciated.
