Always wanted to see a Look and Read star in the flesh, and my chance will finally come in August when actor Bruce Montague - Fair Ground!'s Mr. Turnbull - comes to Swansea Grand in 'Jane Eyre' for the rep season.
Don't know if I'll have the guts to approach him afterwards, but just seeing an icon from your childhood memories will be enough for me.
If I do happen to 'bump' into him, I'll try and get him to sign something for this site...
If Jane Eyre comes to any of your local theatres, maybe one of you with a little more nerve than me arrange a light interview about his starring role in Fair Ground! - it would be a great scoop for this site!

Yes, I suppose it's not the kind of thing he gets asked about regularly.
Because we love L&R and have seen Fair Ground! so many times it doesn't occur to us that some of the actors involved may have almost forgotten about it at times!
If he seems approachable I'll ask him to sign a photo for this site - maybe he could endorse it with "Have a whirl on the swirl for me!"
